This starter replaces the Lucas number 25541 starter, used in the Triumph TR2, and the early production TR3 It is not for the late production TR3 or the TR4. See our TR4 page It offers several clocking positions for different applications. Most are quite easy installations requiring no modification of the vehicle other than small wiring changes .
